As a member, you are entirely responsible and liable for all activities you conduct on and through Hooksexup and its personals partner sites. " Hooksexup Personals and its personals partner sites are for people 18 and over, both physically and emotionally.
" For your protection, please do not give any personal information or your account password to anyone. Spring Street Networks staff will never ask you for your password, so don't be duped by impersonators.
" Do not harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress or discomfort to another member, moderator, or host user. Blatant expressions of bigotry, racism or hatred may be constitutionally protected on the street corner, but they're not cool here.
" Please do not hack us.
" Do not post material that exploits children under 18 years of age. Come to think of it, don't post material that exploits anyone, period.
" Do not impersonate any person, including but not limited to, other members, employees of Hooksexup or its personals partner sites, community leaders, monitors or hosts. Be yourself.
" Do not use Hooksexup or its personals partner sites to advertise, solicit, promote the purchase of goods or services, operate or engage in chain letters, commercial enterprises or contests (with the exception of contests sponsored by Hooksexup or its personals partner sites), or for any other commercial purposes.
" Do not post depictions of genitalia or sexually explicit conduct (you know, like penetration, oral sex, etc.) on your personal ad or member profile. We reserve the right to remove any content or photography that we feel is not in keeping with the spirit of the Hooksexup community.
" Do not sign up for more than one Hooksexup Personals account. If you need to sign up for a new account for any reason (e.g. to change your membername) please first request, via our help form, that your old account be deleted by choosing the "cancel account" category on the form. You can, however, have as many different Personals nicknames as you like!
" Understand that Hooksexup and its personals partner sites do not endorse or stand behind the accuracy, truthfulness or reliability of any information (including statements, opinions or advice) posted by Hooksexup members or the members of its personals partner sites, and are not responsible in any manner for any of the content in their postings.
" While we can't regulate what happens between two (or more . . . ) members once they decide to meet offline, we do take all complaints regarding offline behavior very seriously. If we feel that your continued use of the Hooksexup Personals could lead to offline behavior that is harmful to other members, the business of Street Networks and/or Hooksexup, we will suspend your account with no refund. Depending on the severity and/or number of complaints, we may or may not send you warning emails before suspending your account.
" Please report complaints regarding violations of these guidelines to [email protected].
" Basically, think before you speak. Members who fail to respect these guidelines might receive one or more warnings, temporary suspension or permanent exclusion from Hooksexup Personals and its personals partner sites, and/or termination of their account. Spring Street Networks has sole discretion to apply any of these sanctions at any time and without prior notice, and reserves the right to modify the above guidelines and the Terms of Service, which you must agree to when you become a Hooksexup Personals member or a member of one of its personals partner sites.
