Just a heads-up: Republicans are about to make a big stink over another Democratic scandal in Congress. Of course, it's a non-issue: Michigan Dem John Conyers was looking at the nudie pictures in Playboy... while on a crowded commercial flight.
Conyers was captured flipping through the centerfold in a lame cell phone video taken by a fellow passenger in his aisle. (Waste twelve seconds of your life watching it below or just read on.) The Democrat, whom you may remember from his appearance in Fahrenheit 9/11 ("Michael, no one reads these bills," etc.) may be a married man, but he's no Family Values hypocrite. Carry on, sir, although you may want to do your whacking off in private.
I'm only sharing this with you because you will hear about it and wonder what the big fuss is all about. The answer, as you can see, is a whole lotta nothing.
In fact, the real danger in this incident is the passenger, who was clearly using a cell phone while in flight.

Haul the passenger off in chains for violating privacy laws. Or something. Look, the guy was obviously looking for an article to read among all the pictures. Were he a Repubaboobie, he'd be looking at the pictures and ignoring the articles.
Republicans masturbate to deregulation, segregation and unimplementable tax cuts for the richest 5%.
well said, naula
Humans with normal sex-drives in politics? Whatever next?!
Maybe I'm behind the times, but: what's wrong with using a cell phone on an airplane? I'd rather watch a PB centerfold look at politicians anyway.
Well NoFlyeZone, nothing has changed so you're not behind the times. You're still not allowed to use a cellphone on a plane. However some cellphones, including mine, have an "airplane mode" so they turn off the phone function while still allowing you to use them for other things like playing mp3s or taking boring movies of politicians.
I could be mistaken on a purely legal standpoint, but movie stars, politicians, and other people in the public eye have little expectation of privacy. I really don't care what elected officials look at in their spare time (legality, etc. notwithstanding) but if he didn't want someone to make a big deal out of it he shouldn't have been looking at it on a public commercial airplane. Everything is going to offend someone!
