50 Cent under fire for mocking the Japan earthquake on Twitter
By James Brady RyanMarch 14th, 2011, 3:00 pmComments (5)50 Cent should not be on Twitter, because he can't not screw up with his tweets. First he encourages men who don't perform oral sex to kill themselves, then he promotes some sort of shady stock scheme, and now he's making jokes about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. And if that's not enough to upset you, he also misused an apostrophe:
Har har. This was naturally followed up by the non-apology disclaimer that all celebrities are versed in, which basically says "I need to say sorry but not admit I was wrong so it's really your fault for getting upset and I'm famous so screw you":
I'm generally not one to say that you can't make a joke about a Very Bad Thing, but... time and a place, dude. Time and a place. (Again, anyone who wants to donate money to the relief effort in Japan can do so here.)
