...but the guide to understanding flowcharts is incorrect. "good" is a statement and therefore doesn't require a "Yes"

What? Don't eat something that someone saw you pick up off the floor? If you do, you're setting an example. You're sending the message that you don't care about germs. They just don't bother you. You're telling them that if you drop food on the floor, you pick it up and eat it. Point blank.
Unless your floor is particularly disgusting, eating something off the floor shouldn't harm you at all. If anything, it'll help you, but not by much if at all. Your immune system is well equipped to deal with common germs even as our society becomes unhealthily clean.
Also, germs transfer immediately, so 1 second, 5 seconds, or 10 seconds, it doesn't matter. I guess time only helps with how many germs can reproduce on the food before you eat it
I keep looking for the funny part.
