Our Mom always said if anyone ever hurt us, like truly hurt us (along the lines of rape), she'd shoot him. We don't know if that was the best message to send to her children, but a mother's love knows no bounds, right?
Well, we're absolutely not saying that a parent had anything to do with this, but a teacher accused to molesting a student at Disney World was found dead with a gunshot wound in his head.
Of course, he may have also killed himself after being accused, or there could be a whole new twist to the story we've yet to learn.
For now, the story seems pretty straight forward:
A former Charlotte County teacher accused of molesting two students was found dead in his Port Charlotte home.
The Sheriff's Office says 46-year-old Dale Bowe was found dead yesterday with a gunshot wound to the head. They are still investigating if this was a suicide.
Bowe was the band director at Port Charlotte High School. In January he was arrested for sexually molesting a student at his home. He was arrested again in March for sexually abusing another student during a field trip to Disney World. He resigned amid those allegations.
Former students and family friends are defending Bowe in the news story's comments, but we're interested to see how it unfolds.
Moral of the story: keep your hands off the kids.
