I've always liked feet just fine. The potatoes of the body, they seemed to me: meek and plain and taken for granted — useful, sure, sensual, okay, but no great beauty spot. Feet are for fun, not sex: toenail polishing, foot massages, walks on the beach. I've never gone into debt for Jimmy Choo's. I've never had a professional pedicure. And it's never occurred to me to lift my foot to my lips and lick my own arch while wearing stiletto heels. That would hurt my back.
