Sex Advice From Quidditch World Cup Players

Q: What quidditch term sounds most like sexual innuendo? A: Probably "snatch the snitch."

Is the Quidditch World Cup like the Olympic Village? Is everyone hooking up with each other?

I met a boy last year from LSU at our tournament, and I dated him for a while.

What quidditch term sounds most like sexual innuendo?

There's this saying, at least in my head, where I say, "Chase it and beat it!"

Playing quidditch is essentially turning your fantasies into reality. What do you think is the best way to approach your partner about making fantasies a reality in the bedroom?

I definitely advise talking about it beforehand. I feel like if you try to spring something new and different on someone, people get really nervous and it doesn't work out. But if y'all talk about it, things can work out. I'm a big fan of open communication.

What does a guy need to know to be a wizard in the bedroom?

I think a lot of the problems in relationships are that people assume they know what their partner wants. But if you're just honest about it, it's awesome. Just talk to her about what she wants.

This guy I'm dating really wants me to dress up in the bedroom. I'm curious about it, but have never tried it before. What do you think I should do?

As long as you're comfortable with it, and as long as it's not something deeply terrifying — I don't know what defines deeply terrifying — but as long as you're not uncomfortable with it, definitely try it. Life doesn't have to be boring. Go for things you don't know if you'll like, but might. Just try it.

What should I do to make a first date magical?

It depends on how well you know her. I definitely prefer when a guy gears a first date toward something I like. Try to find out what she likes, and if she likes to just have goofy fun, take her bowling or to laser tag. That was the best date I had in my life! Something fun, not just dinner and a movie — go play laser tag or paintball.

One of the best ways to find out about people is to go on Facebook —

Creeper stalking people is always a good option!

Would you ever go out with someone who approached you just through Facebook?

Actually, I have, and it wasn't that bad. We just started talking and two or three days later we ended up going on a date. I think we went dancing.

My roommate keeps having loud sex while I'm home, and I can't get any work done. How should I handle the situation?

My roommate and I actually have an agreement about this. I made my roommate sign a contract saying that she would warn me before. I suggest setting out ground rules that you have a problem with or things that you would prefer they do and really negotiating with it, and signing that contract, and posting it on the wall. If she breaks the contract, we get to have a sword battle with swords made of cardboard, which is really embarrassing for her. It's fun, but it also points out, "Hey, you really screwed up, don't do it again." We have to do it in the middle of the quad where the ROTC boys are, so there's definitely an embarrassment factor.

And what's the sex stipulation you have in the contract?

She's not allowed to have sex in the dorm; she has to go to her boyfriend's house. But as long as she gives me an hour's warning of when she wants me out of the dorm, I'm okay with it. And she has to be done in two hours.

If I get a girl's number at a party, should I call or text her?

I prefer texting after a party, because I'm a really social person, so when I meet someone and give out my number, and then when they call me and I don't have their number in my phone, I'm not really sure who it is. I prefer texting so I know who it is, and I can make sure it's not some creeper who mysteriously got my number. And I prefer texting within a day, because after a day, I'm probably going to forget you.

My boyfriend's parents don't approve of us dating. What powers should I use to change their minds?

Change their minds? I don't know — when I was in that situation, I broke up with my boyfriend. My problem was that he didn't want to date me because his mom didn't approve, and I was like, if you need your mom to approve everything you do, we're not going to work out, so I broke up with him.
