Bravo Orders Its First Scripted Series about Divorced Women Getting Back in the Game

Bravo, Andy Cohen's playground of women tearing at each other's weaves, is about to get a little classier now that they ordered 13 episodes of their first scripted program. They announced in a press release that Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce will premiere in 2015.
The show, based on Vicki Iovine's Girlfriends' Guide book series, follows Abby (Lisa Edelstein of House) a self-help writer who is trying to cover up her divorce from the public and get back into the swing of the single life in her 40s in L.A. She gets by with a little help from her friends, including '90s treasure Janeane Garofalo as a tough-talking attorney, and Beau Garrett (who is a girl) as a model who is close with her ex.
Yes, this is basically exactly like Sex and the City, except everyone is divorced, not just Charlotte, and one of them (probably Samantha) is dead. The show seems like a perfect fit for the gays and ladies demo and considering the excellent casting, I'm actually pretty excited for this one. I'm already rolling my eyes at the inevitable Tinder episode though. You know it's coming.
