Guinness’ new record holder is only 0.036 mm thick.
A Chinese condom has claimed the title of thinnest ever, Guinness World Records announced today. The AONI latex condom, manufactured by Guangzhou Daming United Rubber Products, is only 0.036 mm thick — narrowly beating out the reigning champ, Japan's 0.038 mm Okamoto condom. For reference, the average diameter of a strand of human hair is 0.1 mm.
For someone, somewhere, with some kind of microscopically sensitive genitals (The Princess and the Pea[nis]?), this 0.002 mm leap could make all the difference. The future is now.
