Survey: more women in their forties down to have sex on first date

A new survey in Men's Health Magazine polled women in their twenties, thirties, and forties on their sexual behavior, with interesting results. Apparently, as women get older, they are more likely to have sex with someone on a first date, 'if there's chemistry." Only seventeen percent of women in their twenties reported they were willing to have sex on a first date, while twenty-nine percent of women in their forties were ready to hop into bed. Seems like those Sex and the City writers were right about some things.
It appears the sex just keeps getting better too: seventy percent of women in their thirties had one or more orgasms during their latest sexual encounter, while a whopping eighty-six percent of forty-somethings reportedly got off. It appears the older and more sexually experienced women become, the more willing they are to communicate what works for them and the less willing they are to buy into the societal notion that "women who put out on the first date are sluts."
So happy for you, forty-year-old ladies! I can't wait to be sexy-old.

This survey is biased in favor of women who would respond to a survey from a mens' magazine. I suspect that the general female population would give different answers. Either that, or it means there's more cougars out there than we thought.
"cougars?" nowhere in the survey did it say that these 40-year-old women are chasing after 20-year-old men. Possibly the fact that men in their 30s and 40s might have learned a thing or two plays into this as well.
Don't we already know that most women do indeed have a sexual peak, and it's a decade or more later than most men?
I think Matt might be on to something.
"Cougars" needs to be dropped from these discussions. It suggests women are on the prowl for reluctant prey who would be less than fortunate to do the deed. It's absurdly insulting.
It makes perfect sense that more women in their 40s would be having sex on the first date. They pretty much know what they want, and they're probably not looking for Mr. One and Only, just for someone who'll do for now. That would be me.

Not surprising at all! These are, afterall, the same 20-somethings of the 90's. Why change habitual practice because they happen to be slightly older?
This is not a surprise. Women in their 20's are usually looking for marriage, kids and sharing their life with somene. Our society has intstilled the thought of " he will have more respect for you and the relationship will last longer if you dont sleep with him right away." Now, women in their 40's, typically, have already been married, have children and are usually just looking to get laid or to have some good sex. Women in their 40s can be as sluty as they want, women in their 20 cant without worrying about being judges.
