If you love anonymously downloading pornographic parodies, you can't afford not to be a Time Warner Cable subscriber. What other ISP would so ardently defend your right to download Avatar-themed porn?

Over 4,000 John Does have user their Time Warner-enabled internet machines to watch the popular motion picture This Ain't Avatar XXX (pictured above, I think?), a rather confusingly titled porn parody from Hustler Video. The problem, however, is that a lawyer representing Larry Flynt Publishing wants to know the real names of those 4,000 John Does, an idea that Time Warner's just not that into.

According to CNET,

The identities of the accused are unknown because [plaintiff lawyer Evan] Stone only possesses Internet protocol addresses of people alleged to have used peer-to-peer software to pirate films. To identify the defendants, he needs each person's ISP to match IP addresses to names. Stone said TWC agreed to only turn over 10 names per month, an amount that he said is totally unsatisfactory. A TWC spokesman declined to comment.

Stone sums up the saga by saying, "If you're a pirate in these times, TWC is the ISP to have," which, actually, is a way better tagline than that first sentence I wrote.

I saw Avatar in the theater. Thought it was plenty pornish all by its self.
I want a tail with little feely things on it.
