Actor Nick Stahl, who's probably best known for his work in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and the weird-ass HBO series Carnivale, has apparently gone missing, according to his wife. TMZ confirmed with the L.A.P.D. that Rose Murphy Stahl filed a missing-person report earlier this week, and that she hasn't seen the actor since May 9th.
Unfortunately, it seems likely that his disappearance isn't the "oops, I forgot to tell you I was going camping for two weeks" kind. Stahl's wife filed court papers in February expressing concerns that the actor had been using drugs, and sources told TMZ that the actor had recently been spending time in the Skid Row area of L.A., which as you can guess from its name is not the nicest place around. Naturally, his wife is concerned that his (possible) drug use is connected to his disappearance. Hopefully Stahl is found safe and sound, but we can't deny that all of that looks ominous.
This would make Stahl the second person to play John Connor who ended up dealing with substance-abuse problems, the first being Edward Furlong, whom Stahl replaced. So let's all keep our eyes on Christian Bale and Thomas Dekker. You know, just in case.
