Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum release old-timey short film
By James Brady RyanAugust 10th, 2010, 12:30 pmComments (14)Entitled Morgan and Destiny’s Eleventeeth Date: The Zeppelin Zoo, this clip first premiered at SXSW, and comes from Gordon-Levitt's own production company, hitRECord. Shot in a very elegant-looking sepia, the film features so much cutesy language, it's like the love-child of Alice in Wonderland and everything Diablo Cody's ever written. I know that sounds damning, but somehow, it isn't. (This probably has to do with the fact that Gordon-Levitt himself is doing the narration.) If I were you, though, I wouldn't focus too hard on the words. Instead, I'd think about how Gordon-Levitt still managed to look cute even with a strange little Victorian handlebar mustache.
Is it just me, or do those Victorian neologisms all sound kind of dirty out of context? I'm thinking "pinkify" and "purr-called" myself, but feel free to point out your own potentially X-rated coinages below.

ugh, both so handsome ...
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum shouldn't even know each other. Seriously, when did they meet? Did 500 Days of Summer and G.I. Joe film on the same studio or something?
Cute. I can't wait for J G-L and CT to release a porno.
@Me: JGL was in G. I. Joe as well :)
Lovely short filmmaking, just lovely. He's a likable chap that Joey Levitt.
@Dani: Jesus, you must be joking. No, wait, checking imdb...and you're not. I guess this makes me even happier I didn't see that movie? Not sure, confused feelings.
G-L, Joe.
mommy, is this steampunk?
"mommy, is this steampunk?" — I dunno, but Channing Tatum makes it steamy hunk.
hey-o!
Anthony Burgess is getting soft.
I saw this last month and loved it. Gosh, the JGL can do no wrong in my eyes.
