Movie studios upset about illegal piracy are illegally pirating each other's movies
By Alex HeiglDecember 15th, 2011, 12:45 pmComments (8)Ah, hypocrisy. It really does make the world go 'round. It's sooooooo much easier to just tell people to do things than to actually do them, you know? This guy knows what I'm talking about. For the purposes of this absurd tangent, I just internet-pointed to several major movie studios, all of whom have illegally downloaded their competition's movies via corporate IP addresses.
YouHaveDownloaded is a new site that shows what people have been downloading on any given IP address. So naturally, TorrentFreak.com decided to find out if "You wouldn't steal a car" (side note: I so would ) Hollywood is actually as righteous as they'd like you to think, and, spoiler alert, they're not.
Sony Pictures Entertainment's offices downloaded Conan the Barbarian, The Black Keys, Beavis and Butt-Head, and a dubstep compilation. The first three aren't produced by Sony, which means they're illegally scoping out the competition, and the last one just proves someone in the office has terrible taste in music (angry dubstep fans in the comments in 3...2...1...).
An IP address from NBC Universal's Fort Lauderdale office downloaded Cowboys and Aliens, 2 Broke Girls, How to Make it in America, Game of Thrones, and a compilation of trance music. Same trend: none of those were made by NBC Universal, and someone at the office listens to boring electronic music. (Maybe it's just good thievin' music, but I prefer Exile on Main Street.)
Also filthy, stinking hypocrites: Google's corporate HQ and the Church of God. Oh well. So what do we take away from this? Once again, it's not illegal if you're rich. But if you want to see Chris Evans ripped to the tits in Captain America without paying for it, and you're one of the poors? My God are you fucked.

wtf is dubstep?
it sounds like this..."whomp whomp whooooooommmmpppppp"
Did they pirate each others' souls?
They sold those to me a long time ago.
Hi, Lucifer. Long time fan, first time caller. Were you solely responsible for Ke$ha, or was that a collaboration with Cthulu?
Can I marry you?
It's "you wouldn't DOWNLOAD a car."
And yes, yes I would.
apparently to steal a car from the internet it requires over 100tb of space, so if you have the hd to do it...go for it
Now you say something
