Did Ted Bundy try to murder Debbie Harry?
By Virginia SmithDecember 10th, 2010, 7:06 pmComments (1)Once again, Debbie Harry has given a new interview revealing that she once accepted a ride from serial killer Ted Bundy, and only barely managed to get away before potentially becoming another one of his victims.
After realizing his car had no door handles on the inside, Harry said, "The hairs on the back of my neck just stood up, I pulled the door handle from the outside... He tried to stop me by spinning the car, but it helped me fling myself out. Afterwards I saw him on the news. Ted Bundy."
Well, that's completely terrifying.
In truth, Debbie Harry has been telling this probably not accurate story since 1989 (and so perhaps, the real news is "After twenty-years, Debbie Harry still likes to tell her Ted Bundy story"). But nonetheless, to celebrate the news, the onset of the weekend, and Harry's safe getaway, let's reflect on another, somewhat less sinister, odd encounter of yore:

Once she caught a ride, just paying for gas
Soon found out he might threaten her @ss
Seemed like a wheel thing, only to find
There was no trust, he was out of his mind
Now you say something
