Watch: "This American Life" host Ira Glass covers Elliott Smith

Ira Glass, the soft-spoken and beloved radio host of This American Life, has often been there to lull me off to sleep on restless nights, so it's fitting that the public radio star will be covering warm-milk artist Elliott Smith. Glass sings "Say Yes" on Lucy Wainwright Roche's next album, Lucy. The  song will appear as a bonus track. Roche is the daughter of Loudon Wainwright III and the half-sister of Rufus Wainwright.   

This isn't the first time, though, that the duo have teamed up to perform "Say Yes." Glass and Roche performed the song in New York earlier this year at a concert appropriately called "Talent Show."    You can stream the track now at Roche's site.
