It looks like Kate McKinnon, Saturday Night Live's newest cast member (who debuts this weekend), is starting just in time: Us Weekly reports that Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, and Andy Samberg will be leaving the show at the end of this season. According to two insider sources, the three, who are arguably the show's biggest stars — give or take a Fred Armisen — have finally decided to go the way of Tina Fey and focus on projects that don't depend on Lindsay Lohan's ability to be sober, read cue cards, and convincingly portray emotions.

It's not especially surprising for Wiig; she currently has six upcoming projects listed at IMDb, and coming off the success of Bridesmaids — have you heard of it? — now is clearly her time to take a stab at big-Hollywood-name status. Sudeikis, meanwhile, is starring in Relanxious, in which he plays an agoraphobic who falls in love with a woman (played by Olivia Wilde) who suffers from anxiety attacks. Samberg... has a role in the next Adam Sandler film, which I guess is still considered a big thing, maybe because we're all suppressing the memory of Jack & Jill to the best of our ability.

If the sources are correct — and reps for Wiig and Sudeikis both say that no decisions will be made until the current season is over — that will be a big loss for SNL. Wiig is their strongest female player by far (and probably appears in 75% of skits), Sudeikis fills the role of "most conventionally attractive," and Samberg masterminds the generally reliable video shorts. (The last one, actually, is the toughest loss, in my opinion.) Get ready to start doing some heavy lifting, Nasim Pedrad; you're the big lady on campus now. Well, you and Kenan Thompson in a dress. Good luck!

What's the over/under on the time it takes between Wiigs' first saucy photo shoot in Maxim to promote her new projects and Hooksexup's overreaction?

I say 3 months,
You win: I cook terribly in your kitchen but promise to do dishes after dinner, you'll secretly wish we ordered in.
I win: We screw cooking and you take me out for a gyros.
*I'll bring moist towelettes packets in case gyros and tiziki outwit us and we look like we have Greek rabies.

LOL @ the fact that the nicest thing you could say about Sudeikis was that he's the most conventionally attractive. Good one.

Also, no, not while Seth Meyers is on the cast.
