Watch: Chris Rock roasts Oprah Winfrey, coins "Oprah so rich" jokes

Last night, the annual Kennedy Center Honors paid tribute to a new batch of  entertainment superstars, including Sir Paul McCartney, and the grizzled Merle Haggard. Also being honored was a little talk show host out of Chicago you may have heard of named Oprah Winfrey. Sitting up in the VIP balcony with the leader of the free world and his wife among others, Oprah shook her head as Chris Rock sauntered onto the stage, knowing what was coming.

And Rock didn't disappoint. Employing a variation on the "your mama's so fat" snaps, Rock let loose with a couple "Oprah's so rich" jokes that the Harpo head honcho gamely endured. Rock quipped, "Oprah's so rich China owes her money!" And like that, we were at a Friars Club roast.

His next zinger was a little racier, and that's when Barbara Walters and Oprah's pet John Travolta stepped in to relieve him. But you get the feeling that Rock could have gone all night with those Oprah digs. Watch for Rock at the 2:30 mark in the video.
