Watch Maya Rudolph sing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" as Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Gwen Stefani
By Kristin HuntApril 12th, 2012, 9:30 pmComments (4)If Maya Rudolph were to make an entire movie of just her impressions, I would be midnight premiering that shit up in a heartbeat. She can do Beyonce, Oprah, Whitney Houston, Michelle Obama, Tyra Banks — I'd be willing to bet she even has a spot-on Steve Buscemi she's saving for a rainy day. Ellen DeGeneres brilliantly decided to capitalize on Rudolph's talents by challenging her to sing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" in random musicians' voices for Ellen to guess on her talk show today. Needless to say, everyone won.
Rudolph's Nicki Minaj was funny, her Rihanna took some time to warm up but was good, and her Gwen Stefani was a thing of wonder. God bless Ellen for playing dumb so that performance could go on, because Rudolph has seriously got it down. Close your eyes listening to it and you'll feel like you're hanging out with Harajuku Girls and exotically named toddlers.
World, let's get Maya Rudolph doing as much comedy as she possibly can. All agreed? Awesome.

Her Stefani was indeed spot on
Absolutely agree, Maya Rudolph Impressions: The Movie!
Great!
She should have a Tracy Ullman-esque show where she just pretends to be a bunch of different people.
