The reason you hardly ever see vintage erotica focusing on men is that in the pre-Stonewall era, male nudes were forbidden. Of course they still existed, to be ordered by mail and stashed away or passed around covertly, albeit often in form of anatomical studies and "fitness photos."

Reed Massengill has been collecting these elusive vintage male nudes for years, and now his latest photo book Uncovered: Rare Vintage Male Nudes will showcase favorites from his collection, obtained through private collections and other archives.
