Videos: January Jones Shows Her Funny Side (Sort Of)

So, Mad Men's January Jones on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, huh guys? It was nice to see Betty Draper do something other than scowl and look confused, and we answered the three-season old question of "Can this woman smile?" with a resounding yes. In fact, it seemed like she couldn't stop giggling and grinning. But other than act more relaxed, how did Ms. Jones do at her comedic debut?

Well, last season of SNL had Jon Hamm on it, so we are sort of working on old territory with the Mad Men parodies. We're glad it just got regulated to the opening credits and several other 60 throwback skits, like the party planning one:

Basically, it just reminded us of the opening to this season's Mad Men, when Sterling told Betty she looked like "Princess Grace swallowed a basketball." Come on SNL, try harder to think outside the box!
