Rumored Intersex Singer Takes The Philippines By Storm

This is one of the weirdest videos we've come across on the internet, and that includes Pequena Amy Winehouse and anything involving Sarah Palin trying to act like a humanoid. This individual, Reggie Ramirez, enters the stage at Filipinos Got Talent (up next: The Republic of Congo's Got Warfare and Canada's Got Actual Healthcare), which is obviously a real teevee program in the Philippines. Everything is okay until three things happen:
1) The judges start alternating their languages. Seriously.
2) The two co-hosts turn to the backstage camera and basically give us a headache with "Britain's Got Talent" flashbacks.
3) Ramirez has a beard... and is wearing a dress.
This last part is entirely excellent because it seems Ramirez may be an intersex person:
Dr. William Turner, an expert on gender dynamics and author of the 2000 book "A Genealogy of Queer Theory" (Temple University Press), says it's possible that Ramirez is intersexed, a condition that occurs when a person is born with atypical genitals that can be mistaken for either male or female.
Turner acknowledges that there's no way to determine a person's gender by just watching a YouTube video and says it's very possible that Ramirez is "more of a drag queen." [AOL]
We're going to root for the former but predict it's the latter, especially after the video appeared on YouTube:

I love how the line of male/female separation goes sharply down the middle of his face.
The Philippines is one of those places that seems to foster gender-bending (like Thailand). I've heard that that gay "lady boys" are relatively accepted, etc.
