Games blog Kotaku has a special treat for the nerds and retro gamers out there: two passages from Paul WS Anderson and Ian Jeffers' Castlevania script. Castlevania was set to go at the end of last year under the directorial eye of Stomp the Yard's Sylvain White. Unfortunately, it's been put on hold due to that dastardly writer’s strike and most likely won't make its 2009 release date. The bits of the script read okay for an action-horror picture, coming off as better than usual for an Anderson yarn. For the Castlevania fanboys, all five of them in Screengrab’s reader pool, there are numerous chunks of delicious fanservice within. Between this and Warren Ellis' animated feature, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse is getting all the big screen love. We fanboys wouldn’t have it any other way.
