'Bud N' Breakfast' Is Opening in Denver, and Other Wacky Weed Businesses That Already Exist

Now that weed is legal in some states and largely de-criminalized in others, there have been some pretty dope (pun so intended) weed-based businesses popping up. The latest is the Bud N' Breakfast in Denver, Colorado because seriously, where else? Bud N' Breakfast is exactly what you think it is. A company known as the MaryJane Group, Inc. — you cannot make this stuff up — signed a one-year lease with the Adagio Bed and Breakfast, which will soon become the "pilot project in the marijuana-friendly lodging industry." The B and B will provide "unlimited food, drink, and, of course, the best marijuana and marijuana edibles Colorado has to offer" in addition to the "on-site chef available to prepare gourmet foods cooked to order" (Kraft Mac and Cheese and ramen) and "unlimited luxury transportation within the Denver city limits with 24-hour security." 

To celebrate the future of weed businesses that aren't also felonies, here are some of the wackiest legal marijuana trends in existence.

Weed Wedding Planners

For the happy couple who will not be giving up their habit! As Swimmingly reported last month, wedding planner Julie West will make sure that all wedding-festivities will be highly enjoyable, beginning at the bridal shower with "THC-infused granola bars" and continuing at the ceremony with 'bud-tonnieres' and small pipes as favors. How very romantic.

Weed Pairing Menu

Weed and sushi is the new wine and cheese.

Cannabis Vending Machine

Forget Sun Chips and Pop Tarts. Mary Jane is coming to a vending machine near you (if Colorado is 'near you') thanks to a company called ZaZZZ.

Pot-Focused Tours

In Denver, of course. Guests get high in a limo and buy weed and fancy food with stops at gourmet restaurants and pot cooking classes along the way.

Cheba Hut

Okay, so Cheba Hut doesn't actually sell weed or edibles. But this fast-food restaurant serves food named after various strains of marijuana and caters to, well, the stoner set. Founded in 1998, this one is a classic.

Soda Pot

In 2011, Clay Butler developed a line of "soda pot" — a collection of sodas infused with marijuana (for medical use, obviously) in flavors like Dr. Pepper-esque Doc Weed, lemon-lime Sour Diesel, Grape Ape, and Orange Kush.
