Focus on the beautiful movements of the body.
French photographer Ludovic Florent recently released this series, titled Poussiére D'étoiles, on his personal website. The title, which translates to "Stardust," features a number of nude dancers highlighting their bodies' movements with free-falling white powder.
The powder was actually flour, used as a prop to emphasize the motions made by the dancers' techniques. In some cases, the flour is thrown to symbolize wings and one dancer even creates a heart that surrounds her entire body. In other shots, the dust explodes off of bodies as the dancer begins to move. The effect is one of being caught inside the fragility of a moment. Movements, like the powder clouds, are fleeting.
The stunning women are viewed as both powerful and expressive beings. Take a look at some of the beautiful images (NSFW).
