Distributor sells rights to Sylvester Stallone's 1970 porn film on eBay

Six years before Rocky, Sylvester Stallone made his acting debut in a soft-core porn film originally called The Party at Kitty and Stud's (you get one guess which character he played), later renamed Italian Stallion when Stallone made it big. The "plot" involves a woman (Kitty) bragging about her boyfriend's sexual prowess to a few of her friends. Twist: this is followed by Stallone as Stud having sex with them all.

The film has never really been a "secret," exactly, but it's also never made much of an impact, for better or for worse, in Stallone's career. (Unlike, say, Get Carter.) But given the man's recent semi-comeback, Bryanston Distributors decided to sell the existing negatives and all the rights to the film... over eBay. After a whole thirty-one bids, the winning bid came in at $412,200.

So, what will this mean for Stallone? And what will the winning bid(ders) be able to do with this now-vintage porn flick? My best guess for both questions: nothing. Nothing at all.
