(Full list here.) The nice thing about the Golden Globes is that sometimes, their off-beat choices recognize some people who deserve accolades for their performances but will never get them from the Oscars or the Emmys — I'm thinking Emma Stone and Mila Kunis here, who both gave winning performances this year. On the other hand, you also get several nominations for Burlesque, a movie that couldn't manage to be camp even though Cher is in it. (Also, Scott Caan? I enjoy him and his abs, but... really?) Oh well. Let award season begin!

Scott Caan is pretty good. I tuned into Hawaii 5-0 at first just for the cheese factor and to see how they were going to screw up the classic series. It turned out to be pretty good. The cheese is there, but the real hook is the bromance between Danno and McGarrett, and Caan is the lucky one of the couple in that he gets to chew the most scenery.

Oh yeah, profrobert, I totally enjoy Caan on Hawaii 5-0, but as one of the five best supporting actors on all of TV? That's a bit harder for me to swallow.

What part of The Kids Are Alright was a comedy???...granted, it had it's somewhat comedic moments...but I definitely wouldn't categorize it as a Comedy....
