Well gosh, aren't those Friends With Benefits stars just great people? First JT takes Corporal Kelsey De Santis to the Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, and now Mila Kunis follows up on her promise to attend the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville with Sergeant Scott Moore. Better step up your game, Woody Harrelson and Patricia Clarkson. You're looking downright miserly by comparison.
As you may recall, Moore spurred this whole celebrity YouTube date-proposal trend (hey, it's a thing) back in July when he posted a nineteen-second video asking Kunis to be his date. "Hey Mila, it's Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott," he says in the video. "I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina with yours truly. So, take a second, think about it, get back to me."
Kunis first learned of the offer in a Fox News interview. (Because good things come out of that channel every now and again. Who knew?) Her Friends with Benefits costar Timberlake repeatedly insisted, "Do it for your country," and assured Moore he would persuade her before Kunis agreed. "I want to make this happen, sir. I'm with you," she declared.
There's no word yet from Kunis or Moore on how the date went, but according to spokesperson Captain Scott Sasser, "Everything went well. It was a great experience for everyone."
Basically it all boils down to this: Mila Kunis, one. Scarlett Johansson, zip.
