Watch: Seth Rogen plays an alien in a new trailer for "Paul"

The first complete trailer for Superbad and Adventureland director Greg Mottola’s new film, Paul, is out, and the film looks promising. It stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Jane Lynch, and Seth Rogen as the alien Paul. 

The movie is about two British nerds who go to visit Area 51 in a mobile home and wind up meeting an alien who has crash landed. The government finds out, obviously, and they have to get Paul home somehow before he's captured and dissected — a mission that will likely involve smoking weed. Basically, it's Men In Black meets Superbad meets Shaun of the Dead.

While most of the attention will be paid to Rogen's alien character, I'm most excited about the teaming of Pegg and Frost again. Outside of starring in Edgar Wright projects together, this will be the first time the two have brought their fantastic chemistry to another director's film. Here's hoping they're at least half as good as they were on the TV show Spaced.
