Entourage's eighth and final season will premiere later this year, and despite rumors indicating otherwise, that's possibly all we'll be seeing of the Queens crew. In order to relieve his sadness about the show's demise, Kevin Connolly (otherwise known as Eric) suggested the idea of a movie, a la Sex and the City, but his co-star Debi Mazar feels differently:

"Women are bigger buyers and bigger supporters of that kind of thing... Like, I don't know if men are going to see some cute little dude movie, unless things are blowing up and there's a lot of 3-D and special effects."

I'm embarrassed to say that I am indeed one of those women who supported both SATC movies — monetarily, not spiritually — but I think not doing an Entourage movie has less to do with gender, and more to do with not turning TV shows into movies. Seriously, when has this worked out in the past? I know we all get attached to characters, and want to know what happens to them after their series finale, but that's what fan fiction is for. So get creative, grab a pen, and tons of loyal Internet-dwellers will thank you.

Wow. Debbi Mazar sure does think highly of male audience members doesn't she? Hey, just cause I like guns, tits, car chases, shit blowing up, cheesy but kinda cool one liners, characters ranging from slightly to very cliche,3-D and jokes which vary in humour, doesn't mean that's all I watch. I know that might be hard to believe, but it's true.

And tv shows turned movies that were good? Star Trek, Mission Impossible, Arguably Superman and Batman and other various superhero movies, in the loop, all come to mind. Oh, I bet if they made an arrested development movie, the writers and readers of this site would cum and shit themselves silly.
