If you were a child of the '90s, the theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is basically a part of your DNA. Will Smith recognizes this genetic phenomenon, and recently performed the song on The Graham Norton Show to bring you joy, nostalgia, and maybe just a wee bit of "Man I'm old"-ness.
The bit was sprung on Smith while he was promoting Men in Black III on the British talk show. (Turns out the UK was just as into Fresh Prince as we were.) Gary Barlow provided musical back-up and there was plenty of audience participation to go around. More notably, he did the whole thing while seated next to Tom Jones. Guys, how meta?! If Carlton had actually been waiting in the wings the whole time and bust out accompanied by "It's Not Unusual" afterwards, I would've have cried.
So get on your ridiculous backwards baseball caps and prepare for a Sunday night trip down memory lane. Because really, nothing pairs with a new episode of Mad Men quite like the line "Yo homes, smell ya later!"
