Allure Photoshops The Hell Out of J. Lo

Jennifer Lopez's cover on the January issue of Allure looks great. She's sparkly like one of those Twilight vampires! And she glows too, like she must have two more sets of twins on the way. And that's natural for a Photoshopped cover of any glossy. But did you know that J. Lo looks just as crazy-ethereal backstage? That's what the magazine would like to have you believe with their "behind the scenes" photos they've published on their site. When Rolling Stone did this for their Megan Fox shoot, it was exciting and sexy. When you airbrush the discarded photos just for the sake of propping up the idea of celebrities as magical, perfect-looking creatures, it's eye-rolling.

Im waiting for instant photoshopping via some sort of AI, that will make everyone look like they're symmetrical and beautiful and skinny and people will get rid of all their mirrors and believe that those pictures are really themselves, especially once they adapt it for video. Its not as insane as it sounds here. Just picture it spread across 30 years.
It's called broad, soft light sources and good makeup, morons.
