"Middle Men" Chronicles The Early Days Of Internet Porn

"Middle Men" is an upcoming film starring Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi as the maniacs who claim to have launched the adult entertainment industry online in 1995. (Kelsey Grammar is also apparently in it; he probably signed on to check out all the nakedness.)

The IMDB plot analysis doesn't suggest anything new or surprising: "Chronicles Jack Harris, one of the pioneers of internet commerce, as he wrestles with his morals and struggles not to drown in a sea of conmen, mobsters, drug addicts, and pornstars."

The question everyone has been asking is: who the hell is Jack Harris and what did he have to do with the internet? Answer: nothing at all, since there is no such person. Christopher Mallick, one of the producers on the film, is rumored to be the source of the story, about his days at Paycom and other outfits. 

Strangely, it's not about hooksexup.com, which would be way more interesting and not be borderline awful, as this appears to be.
