    Red Light District girls Amsterdam

We heard a rumor about this guy ages ago, but now it turns out that he's real and that he's making it all happen.

According to a South African newspaper, there is a 21-year-old disabled man in the U.K. being flown "at taxpayer expense" to Amsterdam so he can visit the red-light district and lose his virginity. The social workers quotes should stand uninterrupted:

"He's planning to do more than just have his end away - he's having a holiday," he said.

"He has been to two sexual health and sexual awareness courses and basically wants to try it.

"The girls in Amsterdam are far more protected than those on UK streets. Let him have some fun - I'd want to.

"Wouldn't you prefer that we can control this, guide him, educate him, support him to understand the process and ultimately end up satisfying his needs in a secure, licensed place where his happiness and growth as a person is the most important thing?

"Refusing to offer him this service would be a violation of his human rights." [via]

Certainly there will be outraged "taxpayers" complaining about how (they can't get laid) they had to pay for this silliness, but really, the social worker could've always just fudged the truth a bit -- and didn't. He could've said, "He's going on vacation and it'll be in the Netherlands to keep costs down." Or just: "I budgeted some personal expenses and didn't ask him what they were for."

In any case, the "let's drown the government in a bathtub" people will surely be weighing in soon.

I totally get it. They have government paid health insurance in the UK. And getting laid is healthy for the body and mind. What's the problem?
