Billy Crudup will play Tim Geithner on HBO drama

Actor, thespian, and movie star Billy Crudup will be playing Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner on Too Big to Fail, HBO’s dramatic interpretation of an Andrew Ross Sorkin book of the same name.

The announcement came from, of all places, Fox News Channel. While Crudup was doing some freelance daytrading in honor of Global Charity Day, he was approached by bumbling Fox New correspondent Liz Claman. She was absolutely stunned to hear of Crudup’s upcoming project, which you can see for yourself in the following video (2:17 - 4:30, specifically):
