The Amy Winehouse Condition

Posted by Emily Farris

You've probably heard there's something wrong with Amy Winehouse's face (not in the above picture, she looks great there). We're not the type to kick people when they're down. Nor do we want to (publicly) pick at people's flaws. So you should know we feel really bad showing you this picture of Amy Winehouse. Really, really bad. But we're going to do it anyway.

I had a friend with a similar problem, and it was the result of some mental health meds she was taking.  It was so long ago that I can't remember if it was anti-depressants or something else.  But anyway, doesn't seem like much of a stretch to think that the same thing is happening to poor Winehouse.

Oh, I'm so sad to see my gurl in such bad condition.  Here's hoping she can rest and heal and return to her beautiful talented self.

Antidepressants don't do this.  I've been taking them for 19 years and have NEVER had such scabs, scars, blemishes appear on my face.

The girl is obviously taking other drugs - of the non-prescription variety - and should be very frightened by these manifestations.  Sometimes, these gawdawful substances give users a "heads up" early on to STOP ingesting the stuff.  Let's hope Amy heeds her body's innate wisdom and voice.
