Sloppy Seconds: Where Joe Biden Stands on Prop8

Posted by Emily Farris

Attention Mad Men fans, the show has been renewed for a third season. [Radar]

Lil' Wayne is expecting an even lil'er Wayne in just a couple of days. [MTV]

Maybe it's just the hair in this picture (and the bad facial hair and hats in other pictures) but are we the only ones who think Brad Pitt is not getting better with age? [People]

Scarlett Johnansson will host the 15th Annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on December 11 in Oslo, Norway. Set to appear are Diana Ross and Feist. [Faded Youth]

Apparently Sarah Silverman is not so popular in the U.K. [BBC]

Our Internet was out for most of the day, so we watched a lot of television and we heard it with our own ears: Joe Biden said he'd vote "No" on Proposition 8 if he lived in California. So, just because he may think personally that a marriage should be between a man and a woman, he doesn't want to inflict that on other people. And we can at least live with that, we guess. Also, we're pretty sure he kissed Julia Louis-Dreyfus on the lips.

You are correct, sir - Sarah Silverman is a talentless product of hype.  She's a hot Jewish chick with a pottie mouth, so the concept is great, but it goes no further than that.  She's just not funny.

She's also not attractive, despite the fact that she's constantly talking about how cute she is.

Also, what exactly is your  problem with Brad Pitt? I saw Burn After Reading at the weekend, and it struck me that for a 45-year-old, he looks pretty good for 35. Inglorious Basterds (sic) is a period war movie, so the 'tache and the haircut are necessary. And he looks good with them. Honestly, I'm not a sad Brad fanboy (well not much, tee hee hee) but I feel i have to call bullshit on the trend of describing people who look vastly better than me or you on their worst day  as 'losing it' or 'aging badly': even if there are a few more creases round the eyes, the guy's 45 years old, he's earned the right to look like that. Although he's luckier than most fortysomething women actors:  I imagine if he was female, his career would pretty much be considered to be over.

Oh, great news abou Mad Men as well.

I'm just wondering in which pictures Brad is supposed to be looking bad. If it's the full-length uniform shot, you're crazy. (Must be the little hat shot. Still crazy.)

I'd like to take it a step further-- am I the only one who thinks that Brad Pitt was NEVER attractive?

Eh, I was never all that crazy about him... I just don't see what's the diff. I'm certainly not a fan of the dirtbag aesthetic he often seems to embrace, but he still cleans up okay.
