  • Hot or Not? Bandages

We like scars, on ourselves and others. In our first game of black top street hockey, during our first and only season, we were knocked to the ground and lost a layer or two of skin on our left knee. We did everything we could to get it to scar: exposed it to the sun, skipped the Neosporin and picked at it relentlessly. Unfortunately, a few years later, there's no trace of our days as a tough, hockey playing chick. What we're saying is, we get that tough people, especially with scars, are hot. So we kind of get this Japanese trend of "Kegadoru," wrapping yourself in bandages as if you had a real injury. But when it's less about being tough and more about being perceived by men as an "injured doll," well, we just can't get into that.
