I almost wish that the Hearst touted by our generation was the gun-slinging Patty, what with her self-referential mocking in John Waters' films and badass history with Stockholm syndrome. But instead we get her daughter: Beautiful, brainless Lydia. She may be prettier to look at, but you'd never see her mother posing naked in Italian GQ or making a cameo in Gossip Girl unless she was making a wry political statement.
