Between appointing Supreme Court justices and serving as commander-in-chief for the armed forces, you would think that the President would rank making a cameo appearance in the film adaptation of an obnoxious yet universally beloved TV series as among the least of his priorities. But this is not the case, if Entourage star Adrian Grenier is to be believed. Yesterday, the Artist Formerly Known as Vince posted a photo of himself and the President on his Facebook page, with a message reading, "I promised to make the Entourage movie if he would do a cameo. He agreed. Seriously."
Rather than express disappointment with the President's decision to appear in an Entourage movie rather than a remake of the 1999 Grenier/Melissa Joan Hart teen rom-com Drive Me Crazy, fans went haywire over the announcement. "Such a cool president, can you imagine Gingrich on entourage? Scary," one commenter posted, while another exclaimed, "An Entourage movie? Oo…I think I just climaxed a little."
Well, far be it from me to begrudge you your climaxes, Entourage fans, but this probably isn't gonna happen. Although the President is reportedly a huge fan of the show, I'm assuming that this being an election year and all, he's got a little bit too much on his plate to make time to shoot a scene with Turtle in which they argue about crossing swords during a threesome. But then again, the FLOTUS recently set a precedent for the Obamas' foray into television by demonstrating the Dougie on iCarly, so what the hell, Entourage fans? Climax away.
