Scarlett Johansson, your favorite beestung-lipped, Danish-Polish actress, has inspired a new internet pastime based on the hacked nude photos that ScarJo took of herself, posing in front of a mirror with her iPhone, which leaked onto the internet last week.
"Scarlett Johanssoning" is the hottest new internet meme (sounds like Stefon, right?), which suddenly renders Planking, Owling, and yes, even Batmanning, passé. "Johanssoning" involves taking a picture of yourself while standing in front of a mirror so that your rear end is exposed, recreating the original picture. And that's it. Not only are men and women indulging, but pugs, puppets, dolls, action figures, and even Michelangelo's David are too.
And now for the serious stuff. Johansson had to call in the F.B.I. after her cell phone was hacked, a serious invasion of privacy. Last month, hackers targeted a group of celebrities that included Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, and Kreayshawn — and ended up posting private scripts, nude photos, and cell-phone numbers online.
Johansson spoke to CNN on Wednesday, while doing charity work in Kenya. She explained that, "Just because you're an actor or you make films or whatever, doesn't mean you're not entitled to your own personal privacy. It just feels unjust. It feels wrong."
