More casting news for X-Men: The First Class has come out, and while two of the originally named cast members I really liked are gone (sorry, Amber Heard and Aaron Johnson!), the film has kept up its hot streak of casting people who are not only super beautiful (how odd for a super-hero movie, I know) but also particular favorites of mine. Not exclusively, mind you — this movie is, after all, about the young X-Men, so some of the people who've scored roles really do like like fifteen and are therefore not eligible to be included on any sort of hot list.
But here are four very likable and very pretty ladies who have recently been added to the cast:
Zoe Kravitz as Angel
This one, not this one. Just FYI.
Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique
You guys, she was so good in Winter's Bone. Try and see it. Lawrence is more than capable of putting on that blue suit.
Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert
She and James McAvoy are going to make the cutest couple.
January Jones as Emma Frost
I know a lot of you guys hate Betty Draper or think that Jones is a terrible actress, but I love her. (Okay, not Betty so much.) Even if you think she's not acting on Mad Men and is really just a cold bitch, this character is a cold bitch as well, so that works out just fine.
These four will be joining a whole list of big names like McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Kevin Bacon, and Oliver Platt. Filming is set to begin in September, and a few roles (like Cyclops, maybe) are still waiting to be filled.
