The title of this post isn’t completely fair, and to curious to hear what you current gen iPod owners think about something like this. What is this? Well, I’ll tell you.
Hammacher Schelemmet has just released a device that allows you to view video from your iPod on an 8 ½”, 16:9 widescreen, with (as you can see) the iPod snapped into the side. The device also has an A/V out port for connecting to your TV, and two headphone jacks, so you can listen, and also listen with your South Ears. Wink!
So here’s the thing… It’s not bulky enough to be totally hilarious, but I do feel part of the trade-off with getting an iPod in order to watch video is that it is, in fact, tiny video. So to then lug around another piece of equipment seems almost ludicrous.
On the other hand, it’s a nice crisp screen, and it would be good for watching stuff with a friend.
On the other hand… NO! There IS no other hand*!
