Generally, I don’t like waste. I’m not the most green person in the world (I have my laptop running all day, so let’s be honest here), but neither do I feel it’s necessary to get my lunch in a to go bag, if I’m only walking a block or two and then eating it.
I guess my point is, if there’s an option NOT to waste material in my daily life, I take it. Sadly, the option I’m about to present is really for the ladies out there, but if you’re willing to add a piece of outer-wear to your permanent collection, and you drink a lot of coffee, then I might highly encourage you to purchase one of these.
What is one of these, you might ask in a highly awkward sentence structure kind of way? Well, I’ll tell you. Bentwood Designs has created the Coffee Cuff, a bracelet, that also fits perfectly around your take out cup of coffee. It comes in three different woods, Bird’s Eye Maple, Black Walnut, and Benge*.
I guess the question is, do you have a wrist the size of a cup of coffee? Actually, that’s not the question, it’s A question, but a relevant one. Also, how often do you use java jackets, and if the answer is never, it’s probably not worth it.
Personally, if I wore bracelets made for ladies (which I don’t, fyi), this would be great for me, especially as I hate lugging around travel mugs, and never remember to do so. This way, even if I am wasting the throw-away coffee cups, I am still being a wee bit green. And a wee bit green is better than not green at all.
