[$3,038, Boca Do Lobo]
When I first stumbled upon these tables online, I was way excited, because they reminded me of Tord Boontje's Bon Bon tables, and I am in love with everything Tord Boontje. Plus, these tables are even more vibrant, utilizing my favorite bold purples and greens.
I was momentarily panicked when I couldn't find a price online, but the designers quickly responded to an e-mail query from me. Then:
me: i think i might be retarded
11:41 AM i e-mailed someone in portugal about the price of something
and they responded:
that the price is 1.920€
and that looks like a euro sign
which would mean that a gorgeous table was costing only $3
which is impossible
::there was then a long pause on Alex's end::
Alex: i believe the decimal point is the same as a comma
Let's ignore the fact that I'm dumb for the moment and acknowledge that these tables are not on the low end of the sweet and the low. You've gotta admit, though...they're pretty damn sweet.
Slightly lower on the price scale are the Bon Bon tables:
[$651-$1,129, Unica Home]
I love the delicate, detailed patterning on the table top, which is Tord Boontje's signature look, showing up in many of his designs.
Of course, if you're still not willing to spend the money, you'll just have to settle for this:
[$32, Urban Outfitters]
Urban Outfitters has these tables with a ton of different tabletop patterns.
Cute, but I can't stop thinking about the Pearl and the Bon Bon...
