I know this is going to sound like science fiction, and for now, it is; but very, very soon, there could be drugs on the market that will prolong your life to 120, and beyond, for the price of a bottle of Aspirin.
How does it work? Well, I’ll tell you in simple terms:
- Yesterday, GlaxoSmithKline spent $720 million dollars to purchase a company called Sirtris.
- Sirtris is releasing a diabetes drug containing resveratrol, which has the side effect of reinvigorating your mitochondria, which scientists say is the key to long life.
- In fact, reservatrol trials have more than doubled the life of monkeys and yeast in clinical trials.
- If Sirtris is successful with their diabetes medication, it will allow them to go onto the next stage, and test age targeting drugs on humans.
- Initially $3-$4 per pill, once it’s off patent, the drugs will be widely available for pennies.
- They expect this whole process will take four to five years, tops.
So here’s my question to you: Do you want these pills? Will you buy them? Would you like to live to 120 or 140, or beyond, if you could?
