Rihanna gets sued over S&M video by David Lachappelle
Fashion photographer David LaChappelle is claiming that Rihanna's provocative S&M music video is largely derived from his works, and someone needs to pay up. The video has been steeped in controversy since its release, earning bans from several countries for strong sexual content. Video director Melina Matsoukas has taken the delusional but ever-popular approach that any attention is positive attention, controversial or otherwise, so what's a little lawsuit to drive up viewership?
