What are you wearing?
I'm wearing a Pendleton jacket from the seventies. It was my father's senior-year jacket. Last year, when I was a senior in high, I found it in the basement and asked if I could have it. My shoes are Martin Margiela boots. The jeans are Uniqlo. I just got them a few days ago. Under this, I have a Pendleton flannel jacket. The hat is a no-brand special Santa hat for Christmas.

Is this an everyday jacket?
Yes, now it is. Times are tough, and people wear a lot of black and gray and draining colors. I like brighter, more attention-grabbing colors. Obviously, you saw me!

Does a person in bright colors get more dates?
Fashion's important. It changes how people perceive you and how attractive they find you. It's evolutionary to want to stand out to attract a mate. You want to be as appealing as possible.

What do you wear on a date? Do you do the same thing or tone it down?
In the summer and warmer months, I have this sexy denim shirt. It's got this rugged and laid-back attitude to it. In the winter, I always wear this jacket. I went on a date recently, and it was a big hit.

How does someone stand out to you?
Clothes aren't everything. It's more about personality and features. But of course, if someone wanted to go out and just wear sweats, I might say, "Really?"

Would you shop for clothes for your significant other or someone else?
Totally. But I don't always like what I get from others. My dad's family is terrible about buying me T-shirts from Target, but my mom's fashion is great.

How can someone look sexy even when they're bundled up?
I peg my jeans, usually. I think skinny jeans look good on anybody, so you've got to show off the legs. I like dark and black jeans. I used to wear a puffy down jacket, too, which gives people a shape they don't want. Wear a more form-fitting jacket that fits flat. Layering and scarves are great, too. Use color and make the look your own.
