Watch: Neill Blomkamp's mysterious teaser starring the Montauk Monster

Basically. While we all now know that the Montauk Monster was just a decomposed raccoon carcass, District 9 director Neill Blomkamp seems to have taken the idea of such a creature and ran with it. In this new trailer (initially released in the iPad version of Wired) we get to see a decidedly more monstrous version of the creature:

This doesn't seem to be from any film Blomkamp is currently working on. But Slashfilm did some research and found that "AGM Heartland" had been trademarked in October with this description:

Entertainment services by way of an online website with video, audio and textual content and images featuring characters and storylines about a fictional genetic engineering company that produces genetically engineered and altered organisms.
