Bristol Palin might not have been able to take home the top prize on Dancing with the Stars or film a PSA that's anything but incredibly uncomfortable, but oh, can she write a snippy Facebook note! A week after taking to Facebook to eviscerate Keith Olbermann for dubbing her the "Worst Person in the World," Palin is back at it, this time using fifteen-years-too-late gay jokes to zing her "friend" Margaret Cho.
Cho, who is openly bisexual and a vocal advocate for gay marriage, recently gave an interview about her Dancing With the Stars co-star, claiming that Sarah Palin had forced Bristol onto the show as penance for costing her the election. This allegation prompted the following online retort:
To my friend Margaret Cho, if you ever have a question, call me girlfriend. Don't ever rely on "sources" who claim to know me or my family. You will be taken every time. And we need to talk. You say you "don't agree with the family's politics at all" but I say, if you understood that commonsense conservative values supports the right of individuals like you, like all of us, to live our lives with less government interference and more independence, you would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert.
Well, that's a GOP plug I hadn't heard before. You'd think if Bristol was going to take it to that place, she could have at least tried to bolster her "sassy young person" cred with a Tegan and Sara reference.
